
LMA Listserv Instructions
Opting Out of the LMA Listserv:
- Go to www.lmalistserv.com
- Click on the "Change Settings" button on the Left Side Index
- Click "Opt Out from this list" option
- Enter your email address in the *Email field
- Click the "Opt Out" button
Changing Your Settings for Frequency of LMA Listserv E-mails:
- Click on the "Change Settings" button on the Left Side Index
- Under "Change subscription settings," you have the following options:
- digest: one daily message with all the contributions for that day
- mimedigest: one daily message with all the contributions for that day in MIME format
- index: one daily message with only the subject lines for that day
- nomail: receive no mail from this mailing list
- mail: receive messages as they are contributed
- Select the appropriate choice
- Click "Change"
Updating your e-mail address for the Listserv only:
- Click on the "Change Settings" button on the Left Side Index
- Enter the e-mail address where you would like to receive your LMA Listserv e-mails in the *E-mail field under "Change subscription settings"
- Click "Change"

How to Set an E-mail Rule to Automatically Move Messages from your Inbox to a Folder (Microsoft Outlook):
- Right-click on your LMA Listserv message while it is closed
- Click "Create Rule"
- In the Rule Wizard, a list of options will appear under "Which conditions do you want to check"
- Enable the checkbox next to "with LMAlistserv in the subject"
- Click "Next"
- Under "What do you want to do with the message," select "Move it to the specified folder"
- Click "Specify" in the Rule Description Box which will prompt you to choose a folder or create a new folder
- Click "Next"
- Add any exceptions, if necessary
- Click "Next"
- Make sure the rule is turned on
- Click Finish
How to Post a Message to the LMA Listserv:
- Go to www.lmalistserv.com
- Enter your username and password
- Click the "Log In" button
- Click on the "Messages" button on the Left Side Index
- Click the "Post New Topic" button
- Enter your "Subject" and "Message"
- Click the "Submit" button
How to Send a Response to Specific People (not to the Listserv):
- In your email program go to the email in question
- Click the "Forward" Button
- Enter the email addresses of the people you would like to receive the message in the "To" field
- Enter your response in the message body
- Click "Send"
